Traffic Engineering Services Supervisor (Engineering Supervisor)
The City of Portland’s Traffic Operations Section is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the Engineering Services staff within the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). This Engineering Supervisor will supervise the Traffic Engineering Services Section. This section is responsible for reviewing temporary traffic control for PBOT permits as well as reviewing development proposals to determine transportation impacts and transportation requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an engineering background in development review, permitting and temporary traffic control and who enjoys working with contractors and developers.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities in mentoring and training staff in traffic engineering practice
