Structural steel detailer responsible for developing shop and erection drawings. Duties/skills include: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (plans, sections, details) Prepare and issue requests for information (RFI) to clarify conflicting or missing information Prepare erecting plans to show pieces to be installed in an overall plan (3D modeling) Prepare shop drawings to issue to shop environment for fabrication (3D modeling) Prepare computer generated files for export into other software for further use by other departments Ability to check other detailers’ work for quality and accuracy Pay commensurate with experience.
