Scientist, CRISPR and High Throughput Genetic Perturbations
Illumina is recruiting a talented experimental scientist to develop massively parallel sequencing assays for measuring the functional effects of millions of human genetic variants. Methods employed may include CRISPR, MPRA, single cell RNA-seq, splicing assays, and other novel approaches to experimentally perturb large numbers of genetic variants, with the aim of functionally validating millions of variants from exome and whole genome sequencing of disease cohorts.  This is an opportunity to work on fundamental science with the backing of Illumina’s resources for data generation.  Findings will be published in peer-reviewed journals and released in software products in order to improve the accuracy, throughput, and reproducibility of genome interpretation, thereby removi
