The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture & Aquatic Sciences (www.sfass.auburn.edu) at Auburn University seeks an aquaculture production specialist. The position is tenure track (80% research: 20% teaching) and will be filled at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The successful candidate will teach courses related to aquaculture production and develop an externally funded research program. A PhD in aquaculture, engineering, or a related field; a publication record in aquaculture production research; and a record or potential to attract extramural funding are required at the time employment begins. Postdoctoral training, a research area that complements existing School faculty, and experience mentoring graduate students are also considerations. Salary and start-up funds are negotiable.
