University of California, Riverside Ladder Rank Position in Finance (Assistant Professor)
The Finance area at the School of Business at UCR is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Finance. Our priority is to recruit a scholar with the capacity to publish high-quality research and who has a strong interest and broad skills in teaching and developing courses related to new technology and empirical methods in finance. Examples include but are not limited to textual analysis, coding in R or Python, fintech, and big data analytics. The desired start date is July 1, 2024.
A successful candidate must have the demonstrated potential or proven record of accomplishment and interest in high-quality empirical research and teaching in Finance. Candidate must have or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Finance or Economics. New Ph.D. candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements prior to appointment. Candidate must also have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
