1) Biomaterials for Expansion of Potent MSCs: An immediate opening in a regenerative medicine laboratory is available for a post-doctoral fellow to work on a collaborative NIH-funded project to assess effects of biomaterial substrates on secretory properties and metabolism of marrow stromal cells. Primary responsibilities will be to synthesize polymeric carrier materials for delivery of therapeutic cells, as well as perform in vitro and in vivo studies of carrier effects on cell function, including histology, flow cytometry, ELISAs, and multi-omics characterizations. Interaction and coordination with ongoing projects in our NSF-funded Center for Cell Manufacturing Technologies will be expected, in addition to participation in preparation of grant proposals. 2)
