This position is responsible for leadership of the Alliance for Pulp & Paper Technology Innovation (APPTI), a non-profit organization. APPTI identifies opportunities and priorities for advanced manufacturing technologies for the industry, promotes collaborative R&D programs funded in part by government sources, and informs government offices, universities, research institutions, and companies about the technology needs and opportunities of the industry and their potential for benefits. The Executive Director leads the organization to achieve progress in these areas and serves as chief executive officer in managing the organization.
