Job SummaryThis position is for a bioinformatics programmer in Genetics and Genomics Services (GGS) division at UCSF Health. GGS requires a programmer with years of experience in next-generation sequencing data processing, analysis, and stewardship. The position comprises two broad classes of responsibility. The first is to be lead data administrator of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data for the Clinical Cancer Genomics Lab (CCGL) and Genomic Medicine Laboratory (GML). The candidate will take lead responsibility for administration of patient genetic data in the areas of cancer gene panels such as the UCSF500, Clinical Whole Exome exome panels, Clinical Whole Genome and other future tests.
