Manager, Data Automation (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Help clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax functions to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. Focus on assisting clients incorporate automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organizational decision making. Help clients expand the tax role to include research, analytics, and technologies to improve how their organization collaborates and performs. Enhancing the tax reporting process by incorporating increased automation, integrating quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilizing technology to deliver better quality output in less time.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) required: US CPA license or foreign equivalent, EA, Member of the Bar, PMP, or Alteryx Designer Advanced Certification.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Data analytics/automation tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power Query, Power Apps, etc.;
- Data visualization/analytics tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.;
- Working in one or more common programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, R; and,
- Implementing tax technology packages, such as assessments of processes and data flows, tax systems implementation and/or configuration and digital tax transformation.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel up to 20% is required.
