The Traffic Systems Operations Specialist performs a variety of professional level engineering duties in applying traffic engineering regulations, principals and standards to the design and operations of roadways, roadway traffic control devices and traffic signals including signal timing. The successful candidate may be assigned to train and review the work of other engineering staff of the unit and will perform a full range of technical plans examining work involved in enforcing compliance with modern building codes, regulations, and ordinances.
