Under the direction of the County Administrator, the Utilities Director performs highly responsible, professional, administrative’ and managerial work directing operations of water and wastewater collection and distribution systems. The Director plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of staff in the economical and efficient treatment and distribution of potable water; in the collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater; and treatment and distribution of reclaimed water. Duties include management of the budget, personnel, supplies, equipment and structures, compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
