Experience with BIM software, Revit experience preferrable; AutoCAD familiarity at a minimum required, RAM and RISA software platform experience preferred.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations (ACI, ASCE, AISC, IBC, etc.) required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Under the direction of a Senior Structural Engineer, the Engineer I/II will conduct planning and design for projects including public buildings (e.g., city/town/village hall, fire houses, highway garages, etc.), public infrastructure such as water and wastewater treatment plants involving the design of structures including buildings and tank structures, and bridges. Day to day activities include modeling, analyzing and designing structures using software, preparing written specifications, and creating design drawings. Office and field work including frequent interface with internal technical staff expected; client contact encouraged. Professional degree in civil/structural engineering from an ABET accredited institution, Master’s degree is a plus.
EIT certification required, current PE registration is a plus.
2-6 years of experience in structural design focused on building systems and/or civil Infrastructure.
