Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a client focused problem-solver to join our collaborative and innovative water resources team. Responsibilities include designing water resources engineering and other civil engineering projects; evaluating and analyzing existing projects; preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects; preparing design computations and quantity estimates; developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department; attending client meetings. A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited college or university AND at least two years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D; civil engineering design projects for water resource clients; water conveyance systems and facilities design projects (e.g. canals, pumping plants, levees); construction administration of civil engineering projects (particularly water resources projects). The ideal candidate will also have four or more years of experience working on civil design projects and their EIT certification and/or PE license.
