The candidate will work within NewWave’s Division of Corporate Compliance (DCC) Quality Management Office (QMO) support the project and functional area staff within a Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) and CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) maturity level (ML) 3 organization. The candidate will conduct performance indicator and internal CMMI audits, as well as support the teams in advancing to ML4. The candidate must be a creative, highly motivated individual, who is able to work with multiple teams both independently or as part of the QMO team.
Support the QMO Manager in the maintenance of the Quality Management System
Conduct process and productinternal audits in support ofISO 9001 and CMMI for development and services practices
Support the QMO Manager and projects in the advance to CMMI ML4
Support the maintenance of core documented processes and procedures in the process asset library
Support teams in identifying and mitigating risks to project delivery and execution
Provide training, quality plans, processes, procedures, and templates.
Document, monitor, and report statuses of corrective and preventive actions
Support teams in identifying opportunities for improvements
Participate in appraisals, walkthroughs, assessments, formal quality audits, and inspections
Promote/support corporate process improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s Degree and/or at least 5 years’ of experience in the field or a related area
5+ years of experience working in a quality assurance or PPQA role
Experience with CMMI for Development and Services to include ML3 and ML4 SCAMPIs A, B, and C
Proficient in using MS SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word
Familiarity with tools, concepts, and methodologies of quality management
Understanding of Agile Software Development/Engineering environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
Should be deadline and closure oriented, work under tight time constraints with changing requirements.
Should be self-driven.
Effectively work on multiple applications and teams simultaneously.
Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.
