Medical Solutions, Inc. (MSI) is Chantilly, VA headquartered and the market leading developer of surgical products and fluid warming systems. MSI has an immediate need for a Document Control Administrator. The candidate we seek will have a well developed knowledge of and experience with document management practices, procedures and processes preferably within an FDA regulated and/or ISO certified environment.
Assist in the administration of the controlled documentation system through the use of a database.
Generate and manage controlled documents including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, Master Records, Product Specifications, Complaint Files, etc.
Maintain accurate and secure filing systems for documentation to include current active/effective documents and form files, inactive documents and forms and obsolete documents and forms inclusive of historical information
Adhere to and enforce policies and procedures related to document control.
Assign and monitor document numbers
Review documents for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate and satisfy document change requests
Provide customer support/service of complaint process
Support the construction of technical files and overall Quality Plan Management
Knowledge of FDA 21CFR Part 820
Knowledge of ISO 13485
Proficient in MSWord, Excel, Access and Outlook
Minimum of two years of college or equivalent of practical experience as a Document Control practitioner
Detail oriented, analytical, and well organized
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Excellent written, and verbal communications
