We are currently seeking an engineering or association management professional to manage and coordinate the activities of multiple committees, task groups, and teams.
Providing support to programs and projects related to developing leaders, professional career growth, and ASCE’s Sustainability Roadmap
Organizing and promoting educational sessions
Developing and producing member resources (brochures, publications, etc)
Managing budgets and project timelines
Planning, coordinating logistical arrangements, and participating in committee meetings and conference calls
Researching, developing, and presenting sessions on sustainability and sustainable infrastructure for engineers
Maintaining and improving sustainability content on the ASCE Website
The ideal candidate will have:
A four-year college degree or equivalent broad knowledge in a specialized field, degree in engineering and/or management preferred, PE license a plus
5-8 years’ experience, engineering practice, engineering faculty member, and/or association management experience a plus
Demonstrated success motivating a group to work together toward a common vision and purpose
Strong leadership, organizational, project management, managerial accounting, and listening skills Solid command of MS Office
Excellent interpersonal skills & great communication skills (oral, written)
