GENERAL SUMMARY: Develops, organizes and directs the programs, resources and activities through creative and strategic planning in vehicle and facility maintenance, technical support engineering including asset procurement and subsequent materials and services, and material inspection functions for Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) bus, light rail/streetcar and facilities operations. This position reports to the Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Directs and oversees the activities of personnel engaged in vehicle and facility maintenance technical support activities. Provides technical service support to the bus, rail and WSA divisions. Additionally, supports the Agency contracted fixed-route transit and Mobility Management services for compliance with the equipment maintenance requirements of the contract.
